I have a joke for you. What’s the difference between popcorn and pee soup? Anyone can pop corn but you can’t pee soup. I know really mature, but that’s beside the point. It’s October and it’s time to celebrate “the corn,” as in one of America’s favorite snacks.

Corny Facts 1: Americans consume 14 billion quarts of popped popcorn annually or 43 quarts per man, woman and child.
Corny Fact 2: Popcorn kernels can pop up to 3 feet in the air.
Corny Fact 3: Popping popcorn is one of the number one uses for microwave ovens. I guess that explains the “popcorn” control button on most microwaves.
Corny Fact 4: If you were to make a trail of popcorn from New York to Los Angeles you would need more than 352,028,160 popped kernels.
